Cancellation Policy

Cruise Agent USA Effective Date: September 2026

Cruise Agent USA is committed to providing clear, transparent information regarding cancellations, refunds, and changes to your travel plans. Because we work with multiple cruise lines and travel suppliers, all cancellations are subject to the policies set by those suppliers. Please review the following carefully before booking.

1. Supplier‑Controlled Cancellation Policies

Cruise Agent USA does not set or control cancellation penalties. All cancellation fees, refund eligibility, and timelines are determined by the cruise line or travel supplier, including:

  • Carnival Cruise Line

  • Royal Caribbean

  • MSC Cruises

  • Norwegian Cruise Line

  • Travel insurance providers

  • Hotels, excursion companies, and other partners

We will assist you with the cancellation process, but we cannot override supplier rules.

2. Cancellation Deadlines & Penalties

Most cruise lines follow a tiered cancellation schedule based on how many days remain before departure. Penalties may include:

  • Loss of deposit

  • Partial refund

  • No refund (100% penalty)

  • Non‑refundable promotional fares

Exact penalties vary by supplier and will be listed on your invoice or confirmation documents.

3. Non‑Refundable Deposits & Fees

Some bookings require non‑refundable deposits, including:

  • Special promotions

  • Group rates

  • Exclusive offers

  • Certain cabin categories

Planning fees paid to Cruise Agent USA are non‑refundable, but may be credited toward your booking when applicable.

4. Group Travel Cancellation Terms

For group bookings:

  • Group cancellation deadlines may differ from individual bookings

  • A minimum number of travelers may be required to maintain group pricing

  • Individual cancellations within a group may affect room assignments, pricing, or benefits

  • Group leaders are responsible for communicating changes to their members

5. No‑Show Policy

If you fail to arrive for your cruise or travel arrangements (“no‑show”), suppliers typically issue no refund. Travel insurance may provide coverage depending on the reason for the no‑show.

6. Travel Insurance & Protection Plans

Cruise Agent USA strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance. Insurance may cover:

  • Trip cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Travel delays

  • Lost luggage

  • Missed connections

  • Illness or injury before travel

Declining insurance means you accept full financial responsibility for any losses.

7. Flight Delays & Missed Cruise Departures

Cruise Agent USA is not responsible for missed cruise departures due to:

  • Flight delays or cancellations

  • Weather conditions

  • Mechanical issues

  • Airport congestion

  • Personal emergencies

We will assist you with guidance, but suppliers determine all remedies.

Travel insurance may cover missed connections depending on the policy.

8. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, contact us directly:

  • Provide your full name

  • Booking number

  • Cruise line or supplier

  • Reason for cancellation

We will submit your request to the supplier and notify you of any penalties or refund amounts.

9. Refund Processing Times

Refunds, when applicable, are issued directly by the cruise line or supplier. Processing times vary and may take:

  • 7–10 business days for simple refunds

  • 30–90 days for complex or group bookings
